AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH GOD!
It’s funny how we spend our days and nights trying to figure things out when the Lord admonishes us to leave all that to Him. It is human tendency to do the mind work; think through the events of our lives and especially of the days ahead so that we eliminate all possibility of unpleasantness as much as possible.
I don’t know about you but every time I have taken over that responsibility from the Lord I have ended up losing more than I have gained. I remember missing a concert I had looked forward to for a very long time in the not too distant past. Just today I came very close to making that same mistake again but thank God for the grace to stop and surrender. I had this very seemingly complicated situation to deal with and everything in me wanted to make some phone calls yesterday and sort it out before today in order to get rid of all stress or so I thought. It took all the faith I have to not do that and then I wake up today and everything is worked out so perfectly I actually have some extra time to do what I have not been able to do for a while – revel in the beauty of some great music.
What are you struggling to figure out today? I wish I could tell you exactly how God has your back covered on that one. Well I can’t but one thing I know is that He does and He has everything all figured out and aligned perfectly. Don’t worry you little brain my dear. Yes it is too complicated for you to ever figure it out all by yourself. Let God do it for you. I can assure you that at the end of it He will have you doing what I do everyday….. Screaming at His omniscience, omnipotence, wisdom etc.
He is indeed an awesome God who reigns from heaven above with wisdom, power and love.
