When a woman loses her father

Bad news. Fear. Hope. Desperation. Persistent prayer. Some good news. Gratefulness. More bad news. Frantic prayer. Desperate hope. Bargaining. Pleading. Then the worst news. Confusion. Deep pain. Anger. Frustration. Action. Tears. More tears. Even more tears. Numbness. Exhaustion. Fatigue. …

Missing you daddy

Confusion. Doubts. Crisis. Binging. Questions. Worries. Fears. Helplessness. Oh and more helplessness. Then more questions. Crisis of values. Some gratefulness. Resolve. Weakness. Fatigue. Emptiness. Workaholism. Spiritualizing. Rationalizing. Externalizing. Guilt. Catastrophizing. Loneliness. Yearnings for connection. Refusal to let go. Letting go. Extra sensitivity. Exaggerated emotional responses. Irritability. Hope. Acceptance. Refusal to accept. …

All this and the so much more that words can’t suffice for in less than one week!

Rest on Daddy!

See you in the morning.

  1. I pray God grants you all strength during this difficult time. And His peace fill your hearts. The road is not easy, but you wake up each day with some peace in your heart because you know where he is going, and because of the memories you have to cherish.
Dad is gone, but his legacy will live on in all the values he instilled in you all, the love he showered on you and the way he touched people where ever he went.
Be comforted my dear sister, and all you can do is take one day at a time. Some days will be better than others, but one thing is for sure, God will be with you always. And Dad will continue to watch over you.
May his soul find eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

A bientôt.
