Journey with Della

Arrrrggghhhh millennial day! That is what today is called right? The day that comes once in a thousand years and so this one being the second to the last once in this century is quite significant and there are some kind of supernatural powers available for the taking to all who will. So there are some lists of to dos and to prays available for this very significant day and not that I have any problem with them or that there is anything wrong with them but I have simply been thinking. Do those ‘rituals’ actually work? and is they do what about those who pray them for plain selfish reasons? Can I truly change something about my destiny simply by praying them? So what about those who do not even know that today is called millennial day? And therefore cannot pray these prayers? Are they at the mercy of the devil and his cohorts? Abandoned and left all by themselves to be tormented by these very present powers in the stratosphere? Where is that anyway, stratosphere? …….?
Lest I burden you with the endless number of questions running through this mind of mine, here is my conclusion.
My life is in God’s hands and my walk with Him has taught me that all I need is to have faith and trust in Him because my steps are ordered by Him.
I have always and will always seek Him for guidance as I walk this walk but please forgive me if I don’t pray the sweet little prayers specially written for this day. It is not that I don’t believe in the power of prayer but it is simply that I am not a traditionalist in that sense of the word and have always had a hard time praying prayers written by others.
I find that by trusting God patiently and walking with Him steadily, He keeps me safe and yes fights the unseen battles for me. That is why he is God right? To help me with what I cannot do by myself.
So I rejoice in who I am and all that God has in store for me and gladly receive the brand new blessings He has for me each and everyday.
But hey, feel free to differ with me on this one. Who knows you may be the one that God uses to clarify these issues to me on this subject so keep those comments coming.
