Journey with Della

In the beginning God…
That’s how it all started. God chose to launch yet another one of His to this side of eternity. With a definite plan and marked out path for all the steps of her journey. And so she came, surprised at the sharp contrast between this side and the other, she let out a loud scream. A scream that seemed to pierce painfully into the heart of those around yet brought smiles to all who heard.
What at first seemed like the mere initial sign of life was to characterize her life forever. One scream after the other has been the only befitting expression of all the stages she has traveled in this life. The thing about each of the screams though is that none is like the one before or after it. Each one stands on its own with a story that is in every way familiar yet distinct from all the others; in every way common yet uncommon in many other ways. Painful in some ways yet pleasant in more ways, the screams have kept coming at what you can call an unprecedented pace. Sometimes not so far apart and other times further apart than one can ever imagine possible.
That is what the journey is about. The screams of my life. Ready for them?
